PRIVACY NOTICE
During this private beta we keep your email address, account and invitation records, residency confirmations, agreement to the Beta rules and acknowledgment of this Privacy Notice, owner decisions, profile, listings and photos, saved items, offers, pickup messages, reports, support messages, and beta feedback. We keep your submitted address in private application records while owner review is pending, then delete it from those active records after approval or decline. The U.S. Census Bureau receives the street address and ZIP code to suggest a general area; your unit and account details are not sent. Other approved members see your display name and icon, listing details and photos, and the general pickup area you select. They do not see your account email or the address submitted for review. Provider logs and backups may retain earlier data as explained below. We do not ask for identity documents, biometrics, live location, phone numbers, or payment information.
Beta requests and launch updates
A beta-access request stores your email, optional name and note for the Captain to review. It does not create an account or give you access. Launch updates are a separate choice. If you opt in, we store your email, the time, the form source and the consent wording version. These records are private in Supabase and available to the Captain. This release collects interest only; it does not automatically send launch or promotional emails. Earlier interest-list records may remain with Resend. Their retention has not been confirmed for this beta.
What we keep and for how long
Your submitted address is kept privately only while Captain review is pending. The Captain reviews the address you provide; it is not independently verified proof of residency. The exact address is deleted from active application records after approval or decline. The app does not save an unfinished address draft in this browser. Your approved general area stays with your account to provide a listing default. Invitation records and owner decisions support access administration and safety history. Their cleanup schedule has not been verified for this beta.
Address lookup and provider copies
Specifically invited temporary Closed Beta testers do not submit a residency address. Their selected landmark is a test area, not a verified home location. Test marketplace activity may be cleared before public launch and should not be treated as permanent. That does not promise that accounts, feedback, audit history, delivered emails, provider logs or backups will all be erased.
The app sends your street address and ZIP code to the U.S. Census Bureau to suggest a nearby public landmark. The coordinates returned are used briefly on the server and are not stored with your account or shown to members. An uncertain or missing match is left for owner review. The owner makes the residency decision, including for unincorporated Mokena mailing addresses. A lookup does not verify who lives at an address.
Supabase stores account and application records, and the hosting service processes the request. Their logs and backups, and the Census Bureau's request records, may retain earlier data under their own policies. Removing an address from active records does not promise immediate removal from those systems. The exact retention of those copies has not been confirmed for this beta.
Your profile
Approved members can see your display name and icon on your listings. Your account's neighborhood label is private. Listings show a separate general pickup area, such as a nearby public landmark. Your account email and the address submitted for owner review are not shown to other members. Keep exact pickup details out of your profile, listing description, and photos.
Listings, photos, and saved items
Approved members can see the listing details and photos you publish. Photos are stored privately and shown through short-lived links, and location and camera information is removed from a photo before it is uploaded. Your saved items are private to your account. You can edit your listings and photos. Removing a listing takes it out of Browse.
Offers, messages, and pickup
An offer, a counteroffer, and the messages on a deal are visible to the buyer, the seller, and the owner during a safety or dispute review. Pickup details you write after a deal is accepted, including a street address if you choose to share one, go to the other person in that deal. Share them only when you are ready. Pickup happens between neighbors. There is no payment processing and no shipping on this site.
Email about account access, sign-in, and owner review decisions is required while your account exists. Email about offers and pickup activity is optional and can be turned off on your account page. Turning it off does not hide anything: Activity still shows the same updates when you open the site.
Reports and owner review
When you report a listing or a member, the owner can see the report, who sent it, and the related listing or conversation in order to make a decision. Owner decisions are recorded in an audit log.
Deleting your account
Deleting your account first pauses marketplace access and ends your sign-in sessions. When deletion completes, your profile, listings, listing photos, saved items, and associated deals and messages are removed. Limited owner review and audit records may remain as described in the Privacy Notice. If deletion cannot finish, the page will tell you rather than report success.

Support messages
Support messages and owner replies are private to your account and the owner. They are stored with your account and removed when account deletion completes. Read replies in Support. Do not include passwords or payment information.
Beta feedback
Beta feedback is available to the owner. It includes your category, explanation, account, submission time, page, basic browser and device type, and applicable listing or offer references. We do not automatically collect private messages, addresses, screenshots, passwords, or confirmation tokens. Leave those out of your explanation. Feedback is removed from active records when account deletion completes; provider copies may remain as described above.
